The apple has no choice but to fall. You have a mind and so you have choice.

From the FFGF charter

Apples Have No Choice.
A long time ago, before you learned about gravity, it had no hold on you. But then at some point, perhaps after you fell and bruised your knee, you were told that gravity was invincible. You were taught to fear gravity, you were taught that gravity would always pull you down, and you believed this.

That was when you forgot what you used to know. You forgot that you are an equal partner in your relationship with gravity. That gravity cannot pull you if you don't pull back. That you can choose to stay down on the ground, or you can let go the tether of gravity and fly into the clear, blue sky.

You've gotten used to gravity's embrace, perhaps you have even grown comfortable with being held down on the ground. It's easy, safe, predictable, and anyway you probably didn't realize that you have a choice in the matter.

But now you can choose to let go. You can choose to stop believing in the force of gravity.

To be free, you must forget what you had learned about gravity. This is not easy, of course, because by now your mind has been deeply conditioned to accept gravity as an immutable feature of your reality. But if you really want to, if you are ready, then you can choose to let go of what you thought you knew about gravity.

Gravity is only a force in your mind. Let it go. Just let it go.

Once you release the weight of this obsolete knowledge then it will be surprisingly easy to float.
